red rock red rock...desert adventures!

What a great day trip!! The night before Pioneer day we made a last minute desicion to go to southern Utah and go hiking in the desert! We went to Wild Horse Canyon with is close to Goblin Valley. It was nice because it was right outside a national park, so it was free but you also get the gorgeous landscape!
We left at 6 in the morning in order to hike during the coolest part of the day, and got home around 8 in the evening. It was a pretty long trip but it was such a fulfilling day for us!

I love southern Utah and I have been dying to go this summer, we finally did it!

The start of our hike!

Kevin found a cave to explore! He is so in his element here! No shoes no problem!

Ancient hieroglyphs! Joking, Steve did that. And no we are not pregnant yet!

Spider woman.....creepy!

Continued our hike out of the narrows and into the open desert.

Storm was coming in. Wow! Gorgeous!
