Smith Family Reunion (part one)

This last weekend we had our Smith family reunion! We met up at a nice cabin in Heber and spend four days just relaxing. Definitely what we all needed.  The summer semester just ended for us, and after working so hard for so long we got to catch our breath a little bit. We were able to catch up with family, eat great food, play games, meet new family, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors! We missed Joel and Abby this year, but at least we got to see them in Seattle earlier this summer! 

I was so happy to have had time to spend with Steve especially. This semester has been pretty rough on us, we have been working a lot. It's different when you can spend time together without having to worry about school, so it was a GREAT weekend! 

You walk in the front door and this is the first thing you see! Kind of freaky. This cabin was thoroughly decorated for sure. Including two bears, a giant elk head, two buffalo, and a legit armor suit. 

You have no idea how tempted I was at least to put the helmet on! But no touching. 

We played games, a lot of games.

Pinata time! There are quite a few birthdays this month so we have an evening dedicated to birthdays. 

Youngest to oldest. The pinata didn't last long after Payton! We ended up duct taping it to keep it going till the older kids! 

Sunday was a fun day, it included the girls painting our toe nails! We were all matchy :)
